DEG Awards
Every year at CES, the Digital Entertainment Group presents several awards for the top hardware, software (that is, movies and such on disc), and retailers based on nominations and voting by members of the industry, including yours truly. The best-hardware awards went to the Pioneer Elite PRO-141FD plasma in the Sight category, the Panasonic DMP-BD55 in the Source category, and the Pioneer SC-09TX A/V receiver in the Sound category. Unfortunately, the Sound category includes both electronics and speakers, which precludes one of these product types from winning; I've suggested that DEG split the Sound category so both types of products can be recognized. < Previous Post | Blog Home | Next Post >
