B&K showed its new Reference 70 Series 2 AV pre-pro. It will accept multichannel PCM audio over HDMI, but does not decode Dolby TrueHD or DTS HD Master Audio internally. It does offer full video transcoding, as well as video processing via the HQV REON chip from Silicon Optix.

B&K will also launch a new AV receiver soon, the AVR707 Series 2. With a feature set similar to that of the Reference 70 Series 2, it will offer seven channels of amplification at 150W each. A sister receiver to the AVR707 Series 2, the AVR705 Series 2, will offer 5 channels of amplification. The prices of all three new models are TBD.
